(July 2008) – GoAnimate.com, an entertainment Web site that enables the simple creation of unique computer animations that can be shared with the entire online community, offers you the chance to win prizes in the GoAnimate Animators Contest by designing and posting your most inventive animation. Entering is easy and the prizes are rewarding! The creators of GoAnimate designed GoAnimate to allow the casual online socialite the opportunity to share their sentiments, sagas and satires in animation, without drawing talent or a technical understanding of advanced software such as Flash. Anyone, and everyone, who has a story, has the capability to craft an animation and enter!

The GoAnimate Animators Contest will kick off July 24^th during the web site’s official launch at the San Diego Comic-Con International, the largest comic book and art convention, at the Dini Cartoon booth #1803. Submissions will be accepted until October 1, 2008. To enter the contest just log on to goanimate.com and start playing in the GoAnimate Studio to create and post a unique animation. All animations posted by October 1, 2008 will automatically be entered.

One Grand Prize Winner will be evaluated and selected by an expert panel of judges to receive $5,000. The criteria for judging the animations will be based on creativity, storytelling, and animation quality. Official Rules for GoAnimate.com Animators Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

1. Eligibility: This contest is open to all GoAnimate members

2. Contest Period: The contest period begins on July 24, 2008 and ends October 1, 2008.

3. How to Enter: Create and animation using the GoAnimate Studio and your animation will be automatically entered into the contest.

4. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected for two categories. 1 prize winner will be chosen by an expert panel of judges based on xxx. 1 prize winner will be chosen through a public judging of GoAnimate users. Sponsor will attempt to notify all potential winners by e-mail or phone on or about November 1, 2008. Potential prize winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 14 days of notification or prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.

5. Prizes: The Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000. The runner-up chosen through public judging will receive $2,000.

6. General: Neither sponsor nor its agents are responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by Sponsor, entrants or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this promotion or by any human or technical error which may occur in the processing of entries which may damage an entrant’s system or limit an entrant’s ability to participate in this promotion.
