The big day is drawing closer and closer! Comic-Con is less than a week away now. And this year Comic-Con is not only the biggest comic book and art convention in the world. It is also where we will officially launch the GoAnimate website... in style!

The creators designed the GoAnimate application to allow people to create animations without drawing skills or technical understanding of advanced software such as Flash. To help beginners, GoAnimate.com provides a simple demo and detailed tutorials that introduce users to the GoAnimate studio and the basics for creating their first animation. The GoAnimate offers simple to more advanced innovative features that provide users with a multitude of possibilities for customizing their animations. GoAnimate will be enhancing and adding features constantly.

In short order, the site will be adding well-known and popular characters from blue chip licensing companies and a roster of well known comedians, satirists and writers. After choosing a character, users can then add backgrounds, props, music, special effects, speech and many more elements to enrich their animation.

In addition to creating animations, users can share their creations, and network socially through GoAnimate’s “Mingle” feature. Selecting generic nickname allows people to network safely without fear of sharing personal information. Users can become fans of other animators and network with them by leaving each other messages about their creations.

GoAnimate offers several licensing packages for anyone interested in making GoAnimate’s technology available on their own web site. Following this official launch, GoAnimate will add corporate clients and more features for advertisers.
