Animating made Easy

It has been a big week on our side, plenty of announcements to prepare and a few goodies to give you guys as well. Let's get over all these new things!

1. Change your nickname (and other account management stuff)

Everybody makes mistakes, right?! I mean... especially me. What was I thinking when I decided that my nickname on GoAnimate should be "Nicolas"... my own first name... is that the best I can do!?! Well, now, when in 10 ten years from now I finally find a better nickname, I will be able to update it in 5 seconds!

Basically, when you now go to your user page, you have a new link there called "edit my profile". Clicking that link will send you to a profile page where you can modify a few parameters. If you want to change your profile picture, you can still do so on your user page. Just mouse over the picture, click and browse for a new picture to use.


On the profile page, apart from changing your nickname, you can also change your password and change your email alert settings that control what kind of emails you receive from GoAnimate.


2. New backgrounds
We have also added 4 new backgrounds to our common theme over the week. My personal favorite is the cemetery... but you have a backyard, a train station and a garage backgrounds as well. You can also find a few new props that can be used with these backgrounds.


3. Super Rica and Rashy new theme!
... and what new theme! With this new theme comes a brand new series that will air on GoAnimate. Super Rica and Rashy is the creation of popular cartoonist Paul Diny and Misty Lee. The first episode will air this week... and starting from this minute, you can already use the characters to create your own animations... hope you enjoy them.
