What's New: July 28th, 2008

Just in time for Comic-Con, we have release a brand new feature on GoAnimate (and I am a bit late writing about it here...). The new feature which was the main release last week is called templates.

Now, when you launch the GoAnimate studio, we will pop up a first screen where you can decide to either start your animation from scratch or select a template that you can edit. There are 6 templates as of today and we will increase their number as we move forward. This interface will also appear when you press "New" in the studio to start a new animation.

The objective of the templates is to provide new users with a way to see how a full animation looks like on GoAnimate and allow them to tweak that very animation to create their own masterpiece. More advanced users can hide this screen if they do not wish to see it every time the studio starts.

Hope you enjoy the feature. Send us your comments and ideas on how to improve on this first version.

Hei guys super cool application. However, you should consider to allow creating an animation before I vie you my email etc etc

    just a suggestions

  • Hey! :o)

Thanks for the good word and the suggestion.

Letting anybody create animations before they register is an option we are contemplating. Maybe more on this pretty soon...

In the meantime, enjoy GoAnimate and don't hesitate to keep the comments and ideas coming!
