We're very pleased to announce two exciting new features to the GoAnimate platform - a filter on the activity feed, and a Twitter Widget!

ACTIVITY FEED FILTER - See Only What You Want!

First of all, we have added a filter to the activity feed on your user page - so you can choose whether to have the feed display the latest animations, or to display all user activity. On the feed, simply click on either "Animations" or "All Activity" in the top right corner, depending on whether you want to see just the latest and greatest animations, or to see what is instantly happening on GoAnimate!























TWITTER WIDGET - GoAnimate updates on the fly!

Twitter is a great website that allows you to stay in touch instantly with your friends and family. We set up a Twitter account for GoAnimate in order to stay in touch with other animators and those interested in GoAnimate. Since we have been enjoying using Twitter so much, we figured that it should be integrated into our homepage as a Widget, in order for you to best stay in the loop about who's animating, what they're animating, and to stay as up to date as possible with new features, contests, reviews, and staff picks.

Use twitter to post links to your animations, to share them with both the GoAnimate and Twitter communities. Write "@GoAnimate" to send us a comment, which we can quickly respond to. When you want to tag your post as being about GoAnimate, simply put a hash tag before our name (i.e. #GoAnimate). Whatever you say, whether posting a link, talking about GoAnimate, or talking TO us - it will be displayed on the Twitter Widget for the whole community to see.

This is similar to our activity feed, but since only Twitter users can post updates (or "tweets", as they're called), there's a better chance for more GoAnimate users to check out the link to your animation (plus, the Widget is right on the homepage for everyone, regular and non-regular GoAnimate users alike!). Plus you can hear what the Twitter community is saying about GoAnimate!

For those of you unfamiliar with Twitter - Twitter is an update feed that allows you to post very small updates about yourself, and to interact with other users on Twitter. A great first introduction to Twitter can be found here!
