It's been a while since we posted a "what's new" blog post. Not that nothing has happened on GoAnimate as you must have noticed. It's more than a lot has happened and we haven't had much time posting to the blog. Anyway. That's bad! And we intend to correct that.

So, what's new today?!

Stats
We just updated the user page and now on the top of the right column there, you will see a little table. This table tells you on a daily basis how many GoPoints, views, recommends and comments you got. We also provide a little sum for the last 7 days. This should allow everyone to have a clearer idea about how their movies perform. We also added a special column called "Sharing GoPoints". These are the GoPoints you get from your referred friends. Whenever you invite someone to GoAnimate, they are added to your referred friends list. When these friends get views on their movies you get bonus GoPoints. Sweet!

But who are your referred friends you may ask...

Referred Friends
Scroll down your user page a bit and below your activity feed you will see a new block that displays all your referred friends. If you see no box, this means that the friends you invited did not register to GoAnimate yet or that they haven't confirmed their accounts. To invite more friends, you can use the Earn GoPoints button on your user page and send invitation to your contacts on Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Windows Live or AOL.

Once you have referred friends, make sure you watch their movies and give them advice on how to become more popular on the platform. This will help you gain more and more GoPoints.
